MikeP
I know this is probably the wrong forum to even post this in, but I was hoping this is an easy request and someone can help me. We are currently saving all our drawings to our local C drive. what I would like to do, is backup everything to our server. My solution for this is, I have a main job folder on my computer. I would like to have a script that can copy the entire contents of the job folder on my C drive and copy then to a destination folder on the server. I would then use task manager to run this script once every night to do my backup. I have no clue how to write scrips and was hoping someone might be able to offer me a hand. Thanks
SOliver
Hi MikeP You coude probably use backup.bat xcopy /s c:\source d:\target http://stackoverflow.com/questions/986447/write-a-batch-file-to-copy-files-from-one-folder-to-another-folder You should be able to create a service (control panel->Administritive tools->services)
jmerch
can't you use a program that "syncs"? I know windows has one...sounds like what you're looking for.
