Gmalone12 Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 My problem is I drew up a PFD and realized the text was at .10 and it needs to be at 2.5. So, when I scale up the drawing to fit the right text size the tool pallett items used in the drawing do not scale. Is there an easier way of going about this or can someone please just help me scale up the Tool pallett items used. Thanks in advance, Gary Quote
tzframpton Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Right-click the tool or block on the Palette and click Properties. This will allow you to adjust the scale. Quote
Gmalone12 Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 So I scaled everything to fit right but now the problem that I am having is the line type scale. I adjusted the lts but nothing is happening, also the breaks in the lines are super small. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote
tzframpton Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Are you in Modelspace or Paperspace? If in Modelspace, type MSLTSCALE and set it to 1, then adjust your current annotation scale to match that of the output in Paperspace. If you're in Paperspace, make sure PSLTSCALE is set to 1, the set the LTSCALE to your desired setting. You have to type REGENALL to regenerate the viewports while in Paperspace. It might take some trial and error but you'll get it. Quote
Gmalone12 Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 "then adjust your current annotation scale to match that of the output in Paperspace" How do you change your current annotation scale again? Its been a while since I've messed with this stuff. Thanks for the help by the way Quote
tzframpton Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Annotation Scale, bottom right of the interface. See pic. Mine is set to 1/2" = 1'-0" but adjust yours to whatever scale the Viewport in Paperspace is set to for optimal visual clarity for the output. Quote

alanjt Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 LOL.... Don't make me bust out my Photoshop skillz.... I can make that happen. LoL My 'units' are decimal and imperial, so the smallest scale I ever use is 1" = 5'. Quote
tzframpton Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 I would assume so being in the civil world. My best friend is in excavation and he operates heavy machinery. He's specifically a blade operator so he's the one leveling the dirt to the proper contours and sloping grades, etc. (pardon me for not know the lingo) He says they work off of tens, not twelves, when it comes to their units. So, that would mean five feet and two tenths would be a proper way of analyzing the units. Make sense? Or am I way off? Lol.... Quote

It screws with my brain sometimes when I'm woodworking. Quote
