unable to load catalog or part xml template, check file access

I tried adding more sizes to an existing fitting. It's been working fine but now all of a sudden I get the above error message.

 

I have ~70 different sizes within my part.

 

This is really wasting my time! I'm not doing anything fancy, just editting an already or should I say previously working part.

 

the XML file is there, I've not edited it or anything...

I'm pretty sure this is a bug caused by opening another instance of any AutoCAD product. I found a forum post from 2005 saying this is a known issue.

 

I got it to work by closing all CAD products, reopening MEP and adding the paramters again to my fitting in part builder. I managed to create a tee with no problems.
