I was hesitant to reset as I didn't know what she would lose. Exported my profile to her machine. There might be some minor differences like icons etc. but at least she is back to work. (with a BACKUP profile) Thanks to all of you for the suggestions. It is reassuring to know that help is out there.

As a side note - I'm unsure of the logistics for your situation (i.e., # of users you support, office locations, etc.), but you may find standardizing your user profiles advantageous moving forward. Even if that means having a copy of the OOTB profile with your standard name to start. Make enhancements as your situation evolves.

 

All of my users still have the freedom / flexibility to add their own customization, settings, etc. *typically* without incident. When an issue arises, it's *usually* easy to track down.
