redwings1958
I am using AutoCad Electrical. When I go to print, I first create a PDF file, and then I print the PDF to our printer. My problem is that the print out is "compressed", that is it doesnt fill out the entire 11 x17 page; and leaves about 2" of space on top and bottom. Even in the dwg file, the images seem to be "squished". ie circles look like vertical footballs. Any suggestions? My project is due Monday @ 4pm
ReMark
Post all your plot/print parameters so we can see what choices you have made.
nestly
It sounds like either your model is rotated about the X-axis, or the view is. For the latter, UCS>World then PLAN>World, otherwise post the drawing.
Organic
Are you scaling it 'fit to paper'?

ThrashMetal
dont know if cad electric has the same parameters as autocad 2010 but when printing pdf files, you need to change the page scaling from default "shrink to printable area" to "none", that works very well for me. the best way to do it is to print it directly from your layout page, with the proper scale and proper paper size. be sure that the size of your layout page is the size of the paper your going to print it to and be sure that the scale is set to match the unit you are using, for example, if your using metric, scale should be 1 unit:.001, if in mm then it should be 1:1. hope this helped..
