Rewind23 Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Hi Guys, i need assistance.... i am currently working with my ground floor plan..from ACAD2011 i import the plan to SU Pro 7.1 for the 3D modelling...i converted it to .DXF format because when i import using .DWG, the file got errors...i already selected ARCHITECTURAL - Millimeters as my template...so when i started the tracing and use the PUSH/PULL command when i type, lets say the height of the wall should be 3,000mm(in my drawing) the extrusion of the wall didnt seem 3,000mm.maybe i just need to adjust some settings but im just new to SU..im currently idle with this drawing...your quick help is appreciated..any suggestion? Thanks in Advance! Quote
soumya Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Hi, I faced the same problem. It happens because when you import your CAD in Sketchup, by default sketchup takes feet as import unit. So, click import > options > and then change the unit to millimeters (also check the 'Preserve drawing origin') check out this link for details SketchUp Help http://bit.ly/jneoWB Quote
