How to update an excel sheet with attributes

Hello,

 

I am extracting attibutes from an AutoCAD 2011 drawing into an Excel sheet using EATTEXT. I am then manually adding columns to the Excel sheet. How can I update the Excel sheet with new attributes values later on without overwriting the modified sheet and losing the added columns?

Did you serach first for acad to excell first theres heaps of stuff here, you just reminded me I may need to do something.

You may want to look at Visual Lisp as you can manipulate your spreadsheet in your visual lisp macro - find read and put text anywhere you want
