I've recently updated from 05 to 07 butcan't seem to find the command/option so that my cursor automatically finds the centre point of a line. Thanks in advance useD make sure your osnaps are on...you can push SHIFT + right click > osnap settings...then choose the ones you want....the one you are talking about is midpoint......you can also type MID as said before....
