Danz
Hi, I am using Autocad Lite 2006 and have been given a shop floor plan to work on, the text in model space all looks fine till i move it to a new position. When I do this the font changes into a Bold, this looks very messy on the plan. I have looked through all the settings I can think of but nothing seems to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this happens? Thanks
chulse
Can you post the dwg?
Danz
Hi I think it attached ok, I have just posted a sample section. Another thing I have noticed is that if I double click to edit the text the font changes back to normal. Thanks Test Drawing.dwg
chulse
It seems to work fine for me. Does it do this in Model space or in a Viewport? Or both?
Danz
Just seems to be in model space
NBC
The reason the text is 'bold' is because it has an elevation (z) value. Reset that to zero, and the text will look normal again.
Danz
Thank you, where abouts is the setting to reset it to zero?
jonesy
Thank you, where abouts is the setting to reset it to zero? The easiest way I found was to select all the text and change the Z height in the properties dialog box
