Completely blank document when exporting to .eps

As the title says, I'm getting nothing but an empty .eps file when I try to export. Autocad 2011 OSx. Most sites I've seen have mentioned an options dialog choice, but I never see one available, it must be some quirk of the OSx version of CAD. Anyone else have similar problems and been able to solve it? Exporting to .bmp works fine, but thats pretty useless.
