Hello all,

So basically I need help with choosing the best computer for my work. Which do you guys think will be best suited for my needs? They are also flexible with changing parts (I will just have to pay the difference). My budget is around the $1,300AU mark though I'm willing to spend extra money where it is worth it ie. help with rendering times.

Thanks in advance!

I think you will get the most bang for your buck with deal #3.

Deal #2 and #4 both have an I5 processor at 3.1Ghz, but deal #3 has the I7 at 3.4Ghz which is going to be better for rendering because of the extra cores and faster processing.

I'm partial to Nvidia cards though, and deal #3 has an ATI card. If it were me, I would see about swapping the ATI card for the Nvidia card from deal #4 and see what that does to the cost.

Are they going to install a cooling unit for you? Rendering tends to generate a lot of heat. You might want to ask them about installing a CoolerMaster to help keep the temperature down.
