If you are requiring it in realtime, the use the wireframe diagram, however this will not show in the standard ISO hashed line, if you require this in 2D format, then youll need to specify this in the layer properties...... By default though, ACAD does not do this as standard. Inventor does, ACAD does not..... thanks QE Quote

This is for 2D.. in 3D, I do not believe that there is a wireframe view that supports the automatic hashing of partial or full objects that are hidden from view, but im sure ReMark will have better knowledge of this than myself... kwrightMTC Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 You can use the 'SOLPROF' or 'FLATSHOT' commands on the 3D Model to generate a 2D of that that view. With 'SOLPROF' it will put the hidden lines onto a different layer which you can then change the linetype and colour properties of. With 'FLATSHOT' you can set these properties before you generate the 2D under the 'Obscured Lines' options. Also, bare in mind that you can only use SOLPROF in paper space through a viewport. Simply rotate the solid in a viewport to your desired view, set the UCS to whichever orientation you want the 2D to appear and SOLPROF. I would recommend FLATSHOT for ease of use though. I exclusively used SOLPROF up until a few months back when a colleague shown me Flatshot. Although my general preference is to viewport over the 3D Solid and play with the shade plot settings, but this isn't always possible. Quote
