NAILER20
Hi All I am creating a line type and want to embed a symbol from the standard font (text.shp) file is there some sort of refrence chart that tells me what all the Standard fonts look like in autocad-I know one of my old ACAD books used to have one but of course someone tore out the page. BTW the line I'd like to create is the Property Line ----"PL"---- thanks

NAILER20
not sure i have understood your question correctly, do want to see what all the symols in a particular font look like? or do u just want to create a linetype? or both? ideally i'd like to have a chart that displays what all of the charecters look like- like a cheat sheet that I could print up hang on the wall and refer to when I Format text this would be especially usefull for SYMBOL fonts suc as symap cause the A charecter equals a anchor symbol a B equals an cross I often code lines and use text charecters/symbols inplace of compiled shapes since it saves me the compling step. thus if the property line symbol is already compiled as a txt shape i'll use it version 2k7(what I run) has a feature in ML (mutiline) that gives you the PL symbol but how would you define it into a line-generally speaking I could use mklinetype command and create it but I often find that this method is prone to errors so I just copy a complex line in the .lin file insert the charecter instead of say "HW" save exit then load line from acad
