WAS WONDERING IF THERE ARE ANY USEFUL LISP PROGRAMS OUT THERE THAT WOULD BE ABLE TO DRAW A CLOSED POLY-LINE OR HAVE OTHER OPTIONS AVLB. BETWEEN POINT # RANGE WITH THE ABILITY TO DISCRIMINATE BETWEEN POINT NAMES (i.e. BC=Back of Curb, etc.). Thanks for all your answers in advance as always. :)

Are you really using LDD 2002? Wow, that's a blast from the past...

You might want to check into the Field to Finish processing... I'm pretty sure it was in that product, although it probably only works when you use proper linework codes and import your data via FBK format.

I think Stringer was also developed on LDD and then ported to C3D. I'm not sure if they still have an LDD 2002 version available, though... Looking around on their website, I only see mention of Civil 3D.

Starting with the 2010 release, there's some pretty good support for this feature built directly into Civil 3D. If you're going to do Civil work, it might be worth considering moving up to Civil 3D (or if not that, then Carlson or Microsurvey), rather than trying to use an ancient version of a dead product.

In these times, when our billing rates are dropping to the same level they were at in the 90's, I couldn't imagine trying to use software that old. Right now, we're relying on the incredible speed and consistently high quality of our work to keep us afloat, and we couldn't do that with LDD 2002. Over the next few years in our industry, I suspect a lot of people who haven't kept up with technology will find it very difficult to survive.
