bjenk8100
Hello, I have made materials in acad 2010. Im having trouble with the lighting. Do i have to make a surface under the object that i am applying light to? I dont see light anywhere, I have it enabled too. Also, i was checking out one of those sites that have textures downloads (http://www.defcon-x.de). I dont understand how you can use those file types in autocad. Or maybe im missing something about applying textures to objects. Any feedback is great.

I dont see light anywhere, I have it enabled too. You should be able to see the light object in your viewport, (spot light or point light), but you will not see actual light in the viewport. Light is generated during rendering. Place an object in your scene, any object, and then position your light close to it. Hit Render and you should see the light shining on your object.
