JD Mather Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 In the assembly or in the drawing of the assembly? In assembly use an Extrude - cut (then suppress or delete when done). You might create a View Rep to quickly toggle between the cut and uncut representations. Quote

I've been using that with work planes to create half sections to look at fit of parts, and it seems like it can be set to act on only the selected item. If you're talking about in a drawing, though, just make your section like normal, then in the tree, find the section view and change the item participation to NONE for whatever you don't want sectioned.
