Polstar Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Hello everyone. firstly i think that Daniel Stine book Residential Design Using Revit Architecture 2009 has taught me well - about the basics. I now would like to delve a little deeper! how do i design a standard pitched roof for a house without the thickness of the roof showing along the verge on the gable wall? In reality the wall goes all the way upto the unerside of the tiles but i don't know how to get this to show in Revit? Quote
JRevit Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 this is something that is easier done in Revit 2012. One way to do it in 2009 is to model 2 roofs, 1 the construction (rafters, insulation etc) and then the 2nd the tiles Quote
Polstar Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 Thanks for that, i think i had almost come to that conclusion too! what a 'faff' that seems to be! Quote
