Openantics Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 i have used MAPIINSERT to bring in 5 large geo-ref tifs, and plotting is choking or inconsistent at best. sometimes the resulting PDF is blank, sometimes it shows just a portion of the images. the images will plot if i leave the viewport at 8.5x11 using a default layout, but if i expand the viewport at all, the resulting PDF is blank these are standard geo-ref tif with a world file, and they are correct in that survey data points layer perfectly. what am i missing? the previews all look good? TIA Quote
SLW210 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 What plotter are you using? What are the plot settings when not 8.5 x 11? Quote
Murph_map Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Memory would be my guess. Not yours but mine or I mean the computers/plotters/cache and the electrons alone the way. Try plotting to DWF then open in Design Review and save to PDF. Others have had better luck going that way or using another PDF maker. Quote
BIGAL Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Can you get JPG's rather than tiffs these can be geo referenced also we have had no problem plotting large images. Quote
