ChloeG Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 I was just wondering if anyone else uses it/or at least heard of it? We have been using this for a lighting design course. Has all brands/types of luminaries ect but is it really any better than calculating light manually or is there any other software people use? Quote
JMcK Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 You could try the free lighting software available from; thornlighting.co.uk/catalogue Quote
FrankLeung Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Indeed you could try to use Relux 2007. That is a free software for lighting calculation I am using it daily. If you calculating a simple rectanglar with only 1 measuring plan, manual is better. However, Relux could help you to design varius shape room with more than 1 measuring plan. In addition, it could calculate the glare if needed:) In addition, you could try DIAlux. Relux and DIAlux are the two most commonly used software for lighting calculation. Regards Frank Quote
