Why Groups?

I have not found the text to be much different in AutoCAD. I was using a fairly old version of MicroStation though and I am sure they upgraded.

 

One thing in MicroStation that is nice is that when you rotate the axis (UCS Command in AutoCAD) to work it rotates the view. AutoCAD just rotates the axis. Is there a way to rotate when you draw a fence too though? For some reason the fence stays on o degrees and 90 degrees which does not always work well when you need it to select certain things on an angle.

Change the UCSFOLLOW setting to 1.
