Quick help! Count blocks by extracting attribute

Hello Guys!

 

I need some quick help with ACAD LT 2006

 

I have various blocks with a letter assigned to them as a type.

 

Problem is that some blocks are the same one but have a different letter as an attribute.

 

Is there a way to extract the number of blocks by a different attribute?
