Skeeps
Hi guys, Anyone know what software I can use to convert drawings down to 2004. We were using Dwg True View 2011 and my collegue was using dwg true view 2012 but both of them after a little time became corrupt and keep crashing. Alice. ReMark
That sounds a bit strange don't you think? You could use a CAD viewing program called CADWizz. Buy a single user copy and install it on your most recently purchased computer. A link... http://www.cadwizz.com/ We have been using CADwizz for several years with no problem. One more plus is that the company, CA Design, is based in the UK if I am not mistaken.

Jack_O'neill
Autocad 2010 will "saveas" all the way down to R14 for dwg and r12 for dxf.
Dana W
I think I'd look into why TrueView is crashing. Never heard of this hapopening before. Gotta be something with one of the drawings that went through the program.
ReMark
Two different versions of the program crashing on two different machines does seem a bit unusual. Did this happen while "converting" the exact same drawing? Does it happen only when the conversion is to 2004 file format and no other? What are the particulars? Inquiring minds want to know.
