gortex Posted October 20, 2008 Share Posted October 20, 2008 I trust this forum has many computuer savvy folks, so I thought I'd post this query here. This past Friday, I was on my home computer using Autocad & Sketchup. When I was through, I closed my files and the two aforementioned applications, nothing else was running. I got up to watch some television and ultimately my screensaver began running. After an hour, I thought I'd jump back on to the computer and do some additional work, but when I moved my mouse, nothing happened, the screensaver continued to run. I then tried the escape button on the keyboard, still nothing. I have unplugged all of my usb devices and plugged them back in multiple times using different devices & different usb ports (I have 7 total). I have turen off the comuter and re booted, but I cannot get passed the login screen, because my keyboard or mouse will not work.
