Named view in attribute?

Hello.

I`ve a question. Is it possible to put the name of a named view in attribute from a block(rectangle with an attribute) ?.

So i place blocks (rectangles) on the drawing (modelspace) and after that i create named views based on those blocks.

Is this possible by LISP?

I don't have time to try this out myself but I would think that this can be done. Do you still do all your work in model space?

 

Seems to me that what your trying to accomplish is already available via the Sheet Set Manager but you have to use paper space. This is much more efficient with respect to plotting since you can use Page Setup and batch plot all your sheets without having to open them up one at a time.

I got to do this in modelspace because i`have to make DWF files with hyperlinks from this drawing. Those DWF files are gone be used in a building integrated system.

This showes these floorplans with symbols. These are linked with the attached hyperlinks. You can also link the system to the named views. For creating the DWF files with a large floorplan and lots of namedviews it would be handy to give the blocks (rectangles) the name of the named view.

Since I have not used hyperlinks in any of the drawings I have worked on I can't speak much about this. Can this not be accomplished with the Sheet Set Manager by using fields via the Sheet Views tab in Sheet Set Manager. This is probably out of my level of experience.
