Fabricator
Thanks to those who helped with the font question I posted not long ago. A new font question..... in the past, at another company, I was able to have several different fonts in one document. This is AutoCAD 2004. At this company, if I add some text, change it to a new font, it causes all other instances of text to change to that new font. How do I prevent that so that I can have multiple fonts? dbroada
you need to create different styles. each style can have their own font but can use the same font if required.
ReMark
Just to expand on Dave's advice...click on the New button to the right of the Style Name box. When the New Text Style dialog box pops up enter a name. AutoCAD will default to Style1, Style2, etc. but you can name it anything you like. Then go to the Font Name box and select the font that you want to associate with the new style. Once you have set any other parameters (ex. - height) click on the Apply button in the upper right corner. finally, click on the Close button.
