tzframpton
Do you have all service packs and hotfixes installed? That definitely sounds like a bug to me.
Organic
This frequently occurs for me in larger files in 2011/2012 where I have to exit/reopen the drawing to get it back.

Tharwat
That's a bug of all cad versions and to go back as it was running normally you should close Autocad and open once again .
Dadgad
I just tried on 2012 Vanilla, and did not have that problem.
ReMark
That is not a bug in all versions of AutoCAD. Service packs and hot fixes can be downloaded from the AutoDesk website. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/index?siteID=123112&id=2334435&linkID=9240618 Create a RESTORE point before loading any new software. Dadgad
Nothing to write home about, save that I have a 21 1/2" screen, great speakers and a built in TV tuner.

SLW210
Your graphics card is not recommended or approved. Maybe a different driver will help. Check your processes to see if there are any memory hogs. Google "Speed up Windows 7" and "Speed up AutoCAD". Kill off info center. Buy a graphics card "Approved and Certified" by Autodesk.
