f700es
Just installed a new nvidia gf gt430 card. So far really snappy. DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4 support. More results when I push it a bit but so far as quick as my quadro was at work.
ReMark
Interesting. I was thinking of swapping out the card on my home system as well. When I bought the computer it had a gaming card installed. I'll have to check out the specs on the card. Thanks.
f700es
So far I am impressed what $70 will buy these days. Started AutoDesk 123D and messed with the lamp model and it was very quick. Started up Acad 2012 and opened a large 2D plan and response was instant. Will look at a large SU model later today. My CoD:WaW looked good too
ReMark
$70? How much vidRAM on that card?
f700es
1 gb of DDR3. Oops, it was $60, my mistake. It has a $20 rebate but I'll probably never see it but I will send it in. Again not a performance monster but better than the integrated ATI HD4200 that came with my new box. Link from newegg.
