I did read your post. Please read mine, I stated that my auth code keeps changing take a closer look at the images. I was wondering if yours changes aswell? Each time I try to use any of the commands I get a this window that auth code window pop up and the codes are diff. This window should not come up after the install. Does your pop up come up for each diff command?

I did not pay attention to the authorization code because it is grayed out. Whether or not it changes with each occurrence is of no real concern to me. And the answer is "no". The pop up box does not come up with each different command. I don't know why AutoSolids works differently for me than it does for you.

Your friends have it working? Then "borrow" their authorization code. It shouldn't matter now that the company has virtually given the program away.

I understand you have this installed now. Would you try to run the QuickDraw command on a solid?

Not at the moment. The program is installed on a remote CAD computer. I'm currently not at that location.

No worries, I just got it working!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ZIP files and emails can be funny sometimes I guess. I had the guy reemail the files and it looks like the ini. file on the old email was jumbled up....

I'll have to look and see if I kept the files. It's been so long since I used the program I forget which computer (I have access to three) I downloaded the files on.

Update.

I found a file called AutoSolids 2007.msi but I am not going to upload it here. You'll have to PM me with your email address so I can send it to you.

Your search did not turn up anything?

I'm pretty sure I have the AutoSolids 2007.msi file.

I do have the .msi file if that's what you are looking for.

yes please, how do I PM on this forum, or am I too new?

You may be too new. Put your email address in your next post. Like this: m y e m a i l a d d r e s s AT g m a i l DOT c o m. That way a bot won't harvest it.

Once I have it jotted down I'll let you know. You can then edit the post and remove it. Sound like a plan?
