fishshoe Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Hello, I'm trying to import a pdf underlay in AutoCAD 2012. However, every time I have imported it, the frame of the underlay shows up, but the pdf itself doesn't show up. Contrast = 100 Fade = 0 Monochrome = No Show underlay = Yes Path is correct I've tried importing image underlays (PNG files), and they work fine. Also, the pdf file is pretty big (about 100 MB), so I didn't know if that affected its ability to display. Does anyone have any ideas about how to get this to show up? Thanks! Quote
ReMark Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 A 100MB PDF? What are you system specs? Quote
SLW210 Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 What color is your background? When selecting the frame, what is listed in properties? 100MB, could be graphics related, what graphics card do you have? Is the PDF on a network? Quote
Bogbadbob658 Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I think 100MB is way to big unless you have one hell of a machine. I struggle with files a fraction of that size. I would suggest you convert it to a different format either TIFF or JPEG and keep the file size down. Quote
