Dear Sir,

I am using autocad2007 in windows 7 OS, while plotting the drawing printer is not shown. The printer is a HP design jet mono 24. But the printer is installed and printer is shown in all other documents i.e. while plotting pdf and others. I am enclosing the snap shots for your info.I had highlighted the same in sketch-1 & sketch-2

Please tell me solution. I would be thankfull.

Srinivas

AutoCAD 2007 is 32-bit. Your version of Windows is 32-bit or 64-bit? Do you have a 32-bit or 64-bit driver loaded for the printer?

You could try the following.

Uninstall the printer.

Shut down your computer.

Turn the printer on.

Boot up your computer.

It should state that it "found new hardware".

Reinstall the printer drivers.

Print a test page via the printer properties box. Does it print?

If yes, then open AutoCAD, load up a drawing, send it to the printer. Does it print? Yes or No?

Also, it might be that your acad is set to hide system printers. Either turn this off in the options dialogue, or add an acad printer linked to the specific windows printer you want.

Type OPTIONS > Plot and Publish tab > Unclick Hide System Printers to the right.

You could also try the Add or Configure PLotters button at the same tab.
