Casusa
Hi. Where can i find free blocks (pesons, cars, trees, stuff like that) for 3D Studio an Autocad? Thanks.
ReMark
AutoCAD blocks can be found in numerous locations many of which have been repeated time and again here at CADTutor. Take a look at similar threads below. As for 3D Studio....sorry, I'm not well-versed in that subject. Also take a look in the Blocks, Images, Models and Materials forum. Casusa
One question. Street lamps are made in Cad or there are blocks of it? Thanks.
ReMark
Street lamps can be made in CAD but do not come as standard in plain AutoCAD. Is it possible that someone has created a block of a typical street lamp? I'm positive someone has but the trick is finding one. You can check at the CAD Block Exchange Network or over at the CADforum in the CAD Blocks section. Another source of free 2D AutoCAD blocks is www.draftsperson.net

Cad64
If you're willing to pay, check out Evermotion. They are having a 50% off sale right now, so you can pick up a lot of their older collections for half price. Here is their collection of street signs, lamps, benches, etc. http://www.evermotion.org/modelshop/show_product/archmodels-vol-13/60/0/0/ Or you can purchase individual models: http://www.evermotion.org/modelshop/show_searched_products/0 Note: These are NOT Autocad models. They are 3DS Max. But you could always Export them to .dwg format if you wanted to.

Casusa
Hi. One question, is it possible to assign materials to a block? Like persons or cars? Or isn't possible to do that?
ReMark
I'm not sure that is possible but the quickest way to find out is to do a test. Create a 3D cube, turn it into a block and try to apply a material. What happens? Seek and ye shall find.
Cad64
If you have Autocad questions about blocks, please start a new thread in the Autocad 3D Modeling & Rendering section.
