Hi all,

I have a problem in that a customer drawing, actually several cutomer drawings are not closed polylines. tHEY ARE REASONABLY SIMPLE PROFILES THAT i NEED TO CUT OUT ON A CNC ROUTER. mY PROBLEM BEING THAT AS THEY ARE NOT CLOSED the router software will not recognise them properly. Is there anyway to find out where exactly on the profile the gap is with zooming right in and panning around??

Thanks

in advance and sorry about the caps

A very nice tutorial but sadly I am using Acad 07, not 2012 so I don't have this command. Thanks anyway Pablo

I need to find the gap, or the many that there are. Sadly my customer does not know how to draw

@Pablo Ferral

A nice guide in your link. In first instance, I would have probably gone with a bpoly to generate to region of the shape. However, even though I knew you could join with fuzz, I didn't realise you could also trim with the same. Nice tip

No problem :D

Don't forget that you can also use the Fillet command with a 0 Radius to clean up corners between lines one at a time.

Holding down the SHIFT key whilst running the fillet command overrides the current value with 0.

P.S. Are you sure that polyline> edit isn't an option in ACAD 2007? I don't have 2007 installed to check - but according to the command reference here:

http://www.hyperpics.com/commands/

PEDIT should be in 2007.
