Control of layers to see in PDF

Hello.........

I have question, is it possible to control the layers to plot in a PDF or DWF plotter.

Now it`s only possible to turn the "include layer information" on or off. I like to choose a few layers i want to see in a PDF/DWF. For instance, I don`t want to see the xref layers in the PDF/DWF. So the xref is shown in the drawing but can not be switched off.

Can this be done somehow?
