Disappearing text in Layouts

When working in my layouts, if I zoom in the text shown from the model via my viewport disappears. It's all still there, but just doesn't get shown in the Layout unless you are zoomed right out. Just a pain if I want to refer to something in my titleblock, I have to go back into the model temporarily to find the value I want, and then back into my layout. It always used to show when I zoomed in - I think it stopped showing the text when I upgraded to AC2008, but can't remember for sure. Any ideas?

Check if the texts are Annotative - one of the great features of Annotative text is that it only shows at pre-determined scales, but it can be a real pain if you're not faimiliar with it.

I have my text set to be non-annotative

hmm...ok. When you say zooming - do you mean zooming inside the viewport or while in Paper Space? Does it appear if you regen or redraw while zoomed in? Is it MText or Dimensions?

I'm talking about zooming just in my layout - in paper space, not inside the viewport.

 

Nothing re-appears with a regen. It is text & mtext.
