cy131 Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Hello, my company uses 2004 Mechanical Desktop so we're kind of out of date. We have custom title blocks and within them, we have lines of attributes left for the BOM. I'd love to know if there is any VBA or LISP routine out there to extract this data exactly how it is on the title block to a spreadsheet? Thanks in advance! Quote
MSasu Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 You can either use EATTEXT command or modify the tool from this post to suit your needs. Quote

It's far too many steps. I have to train 20 engineers/designers/detailers on a new command if I find any. I'm looking for a 1 or 2 click command that does the same thing. EATTEXT is nice, but it extracts unnecessay columns that you end up deleting once you're in the spreadsheet. It has a "block" and "count" column which is useless. Thanks again! Quote
