Hi All!

What I'd like to do is some how to combine several blocks in to a single dynamic block which changes it's shape and size (withing a certain range) every time it's copied.

I intend to use it for making random looking designs (for instance a forest).

I hope this wasn't too obscure

Thanks

If you mean a block that looks different everytime you place it then AutoCAD is not the program for you. If you want a block that can be changed for each insertion then a dynamic block might be the way forward. You can use different visibility states to show different parts and possibly a couple of stretch frames to modify the shape.

Thanks for the insight guys, unfortunately I'm not a big programmer (or a small one) so engaging in that sort of activity for me would be, how shall I put it, not effective...

Basically what I want to achieve is an "Image hose" such as in Metacreation's Painter Application if you are familiar ( I can't post a link cuz i'm such a noob)

Perhaps there is an existing lisp that could be modified to do this?

Cheers

Just throwing this out there to see what people think. Would it be good to try to make a hatch pattern?
