shakey230 Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 hi everyone. here it goes, dont be afraid to tell me i am mad lol. rite say we have a floor plan with with text furniture walls doors windows the lot. is there any thing out there that would (lets say improve the bpoly command) for example some thing where i could say only use layers A-WALL & A-WIND and any gaps it would fill in its self rather than giving an error.. basically what i am after is a quicker way to polyining rooms. please tell me ime not crazy. cheers. danellis Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Try isolating your polyine, A-WALL, and A_WIND layers. You'd still need to find a way to "plug" your door opens, though. What I sometimes do is include a non-plotting line on a layer called Door-stop (or similar) within my door block to achieve this. dJE Quote
shakey230 Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 yea its kinda what i thought and to be fair, by the time you plug the door and do the bpoly command you would have the room polylined any way. need to stop trying to cut corners and get busy with the poly lol Quote
