Brenda Tanner
Hello all, This is my first post. I have been assigned a new task with my employer. They would like me to build some custom pull-down menus to run some LISP routines and other custom commands. I'm kind of new to this so in order to insure I don't make any big mistakes, I'd like to backup all the menu and cui files first...just in case. Can someone help me with how to get started with this? A backup is very important before I start editing the other settings.
pendean
CUI command while in AutoCAD: the Transfer tab also allows you to SAVEAS the menu file to a new location.
JGA
Have you thought about using toolpalletes to create & share your routines? If you point your copy of AutoCAD to look to a network folder (set to read-only to everyone else) in the options panel, you retain full control over the content, while everyone else can add the folder to their copy of Acad.
