ReMark Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Sometimes the answer is as plain as the nodes on our face. Quote
tzframpton Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 wow, it appears that 'node' does it after all... go figure!Yes, the Node Object Snap will work since AEC Pipe Objects contain a Node at the ends of the pipe. However, it's best to turn off your OSNAPS and use the MEP Snaps instead. Make sure OSNAPZ isn't on either. This is the kind of crap that really annoys the hell out of me. If it wasn't broken in the last release why did it malfunction in the new release? Makes no sense. And something like this happens with just about every new version. Don't we waste enough time trying to get the new features and commands to work without having to worry about something that has been part of the program for years? And they (AutoDesk) have the nerve to keep charging higher prices and higher subscription fees just the same.Ah... see what I mean in my post about AutoCAD being aged? haha Quote
ReMark Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I didn't think software "aged" like people. If it did then people using pre-2000 versions of AutoCAD would really be crying the blues. It's like you went to bed one night and your right arm was fine only to wake up the next morning and find it was broken. You'd ask yourself, "What the heck happened?" Quote
