bm23
My renders very often turn out to be overexposed, to the point the whole render is just a white image. I only know the basic settings. I'm using Vray 2.0. What am I doing wrong?
Cad64
Sorry, I don't use Vray so I can't really help you with render settings, but let me ask you a few questions. 1. Are you rendering an outdoor or indoor scene? 2. Are you using a Daylight System for your sun and sky? If so, have you set the parameters correctly for Vray? 3. Have you adjusted your Gamma and LUT settings? 4. Have you adjusted your Environment exposure control settings? Here's a tutorial that might be helpful: http://vray.info/tutorials/vraydaylight/
bm23
hi! Thanks for the link. I actually found out that the problem lies with the fact that I was rendering perspective and not a camera view. When rendering with perspective, I had to lower the color mapping multiplier to get the right exposure. Your link actually helped me with some other questions I was gonna have to deal with in a while
