DODGE Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Hi Guys Usually all the work I do I print to A3. I have a HP A3 printer and also a copier that I print A3 from. I now have a project that I need to print to A2. Is there a way I can draw the project as per normal in AutoCad, then somehow take to an outside source for printing to A2 Obviously where ever I take it for printing they aren't going to have AutoCad. So my question is, how do I do it? Should I print to PDF and take that with me on disk or what? Thanks Guys would be gratefull for any help. Dodge. Quote
nocturne00 Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Print the files to PDF is a lot better. then copy also the CAD files just in case they have autoCAD. Do you have a USB Flash Drive or portable Hard Disc? very handy if need be that you print outside the office. I wouldnt recommend writing to a disc coz sometimes writing to a disc fails and you'll only realize it if you are at the printing shop Quote

cadvision Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 download PDF995 from PDF995.com and print to A2 PDF files. Check with your print shop as many have 3rd party software like Rasterex or CSoft bundled with their plotters to read DWG. Making the PDF means you have the control Quote
