Tiger Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Highlight the whole shabang and MOVE? You can input coordinates in a X,Y,Z fashion or snap to ready-made point. If you have it as an X-ref you can choose your insertionpoint when you Attach it. Quote
MSasu Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 If decide to use the moving solution suggested by @Tiger, please don’t forget to adjust the viewports from Paper Space (if any) accordingly as next step. Also, ensure that all layers are ON and thawed before proceed to move. It depends of what you intend to do with the drawing further, but an adjustment of the coordinates system (UCS) may help, too. For sure, no matter which method you decide to use, it is very important to identify an unequivocal reference in the drawing – I mean a known point to use it to calculate the displacement and rotation. Tiger Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Yeah, without a bit more information about what you have and what you want to accomplish, it's hard to recommend a suitable solution. MOVE works - but it also messes alot of stuff up, like MSasu pointed out. Information is like chocolate. You can never get enough. mmmm chocolate.... Quote
