Editing Multi-Line Text

Recommended Posts

I am using AutoCad 2009 and I have a problem with the panel titles staying where I can access them. Example: the Format panel will appear at certain times, but I cannot find out how to access the function where they stay put all the time. Any suggestions.

As the Ribbon has contextual states built into it, and so is constantly changing driven by what you are doing, I am not sure how to do that.

Do you display your MENU BAR above (or below) the ribbon? I ask because one of those is FORMAT.

If you click on the circled arrow on the right hand end of the top line, you can select SHOW MENU BAR.

If you do that, at least you will always be able to directly access the dropdown list of FORMAT related commands.

Are you specifically interested in this, as it pertains to editing MTEXT?

If so, then look at the other image, and set your MTEXTTOOLBAR variable to 1, so that your mtext editor will display while using the ribbon (the default value is 2).
