Blank Properties box in dyn blk

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have Autodesk Architectural 2007

When I am in block editor working on a dyn. blk. and I click on a parameter and then click on properties the properties box comes up blank. I really don't understand why it is all of sudden coming up blank. I really need this, I use it alot.

Things I've tried:

1. Shut down and restarted.

2. Reloaded Autodesk Architectural

3. Verified I had the latest updates

I don't have an answer but

is it happening to every block you do or only one?

is it happening to all papameters or only one?

every so often blocks get corrupted and need deleting, purging and reconstructing from scratch before they will behave again. Have you tried WBLOCKing a block and then using BEDIT|? Does it behave the same?

It happens to all parameters in block editor. I created new simple dyn. Blocks and still have the same problem. I went to some very old Dyn. blocks and still have the same problem. The only thing I haven't tried is to fully remove autocad and reinstall from scratch. Is this an option for correction. And if so, would I have to get a new Activation Code?

Thanks

TBH, I don't know but I would get my reseller involved before doing a re-install just in case.

Do you have a "repair" option on your installation disks or is that where you reloaded AA from.

Dave;

Thanks for the help. After all my exhaustive serch for a cure on this it appears that I have to do a complete unload and reload. The problem is that my program was suppose to have be put into my individual name when I sold my Architectural firm. Come to find out it didn't happen. So I have to contact the them and have my program put into my name so I can get a new Activation Code. Once I have that It should be all back in working order.

Thanks for your and everyone else's help in this matter.
