silverado
I'm trying to insert an panelboard from the tool palette of MEP 2012. I've managed to insert it, but when checking the properties, it's listed 1phase. How do I change it to 3 phase?
ReMark
FYI - There is a MEP forum listed under the heading AutoCAD Vertical Products. Have you done a search by any chance?

tzframpton
I'm trying to insert an panelboard from the tool palette of MEP 2012. I've managed to insert it, but when checking the properties, it's listed 1phase. How do I change it to 3 phase? This is a one-time operation that's done when you're adding the Panel into the drawing. Follow these steps: Click the Panel you want to insert into the drawing. DO NOT set the panel yet. Notice on the Properties Palette, there are orange asterisks beside a few items. These are some of the properties you can change before you set the panel in place. Even though there's no orange asterisk beside the Phase, you can change it from single to three phase. This is how you preset the Panel. Once it's set, I do not believe it can be changed, you'd have to re-insert a Panel. Here is a link to some further documentation: http://exchange.autodesk.com/autocadmep/enu/online-help/browse#WS46b90c3cb2c58cad1e9cb75fe2b27757e-7ff0.htm Hope this helps!
