Is it possible to set dif. visual styles for dif. parts of assy?

I have drawn a fire alarm, and would like to show a glass part as clear; so, parts inside glass would be visible. Is it possible?

you can apply a glass material to it and render it. Since you are using acad09 you can also apply your materials and change your visual style to realistic and i believe it will reflect this. Im not sure if you can change to transparent parts in acad or not. I know solidworks allows this.
