Dadgad Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Yes, that is exactly what I meant, that the displayed value would be indicated by ####. Quote
nod684 Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 irneb, normally when you right click on a field inside an att block, it will show "Edit Field, Update Field, and Convert Field to Text" These things doesn't show when i use your routine. What is shown is insert Field. But yes, you are right. it is actually a field for when i try to resize the rectang that the area is linked to..the area is also updated. How can i predefine the m2 (2 as a superscript) in your routine? normally i do the superscript by pressing ALT+0178 but in command mode it does not work when i try to set it up in the settings as a suffix Quote
irneb Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I tend to use the Character map in the windows start menu, then copy the ². Then paste that into the command-line. Alternatively, press F2 to open the text screen - then type the Alt+0178 to add the ² "normally". This is something new to acad's idiotic user interface, the new command-line doesn't work correctly with such keystrokes. YAFR (Yet Another Feature Reduction) As for "field", I simply double-click on mine to open the field-dialog. But just checked as well - inside an MText the right-click does show edit field. Same applies inside the Enhance Attribute Editor dialog box (double click or right-click->Edit field...). Are you perhaps referring to the properties palette? If so no fields are indicated there.
