block osnaps

Ok so i recieved a block from a company that is a circle with text accosiated with it. when i go to move it the only points i can get is a center point of the circle or the insert point. i cant get a quadrent or a nearest on the circle. When i burst the block i can get any pick point i want. any suggestions?

It may depend on what version of AutoCAD that the block was originally created in. Have you exploded the block and re-created it to check if the snaps work then?

Yeah of course that works but im trying to avoid that. What version of autocad would make it so that i could pick a point on a circle thats in a block?

Well by recreating the block and it works fine, you have ascertained that, more than likely, the problem is with the company that created the block. No?

Haha well i already knew that the company had problems. That variable didnt work. I just didnt know if this was an issue that other people had, had before. Thank you though
