Structural - Plate #3.jpg

This is what one student drew for Plate #3 of the structural project.

thanks for the post i will see how much i can see and get out of it , and what is the red portion under the first/5th colum that area was for the earth haching in my #2 plate

Posted

The red below the two columns is hatching for the sand base and the earth below. Two different patterns.

so it is pretty much same thing with the #2 plate, i dont see no much diferent @all except a few thing beside the hatching size .i did the roof in the 2nd plate too .

Plate 2 is supposed to be the south elevation seen as though you were standing outside of the building. You would see the vertical metal siding.

Plate 3 is supposed to be a section cut through the building east/west.

Yes, there are some parts that are similar.

got that part, you right it is the section veiw but dont see much different except exposing the parts yha

I did not design the course. If I had you'd be working much harder.

i need the good picture of this plate #3, please if any one has it thanks

You have stated that plate 2 and 3 are very similar. If you have done plate 2 already then why are you requesting further pictures of plate 3? What is the problem? Everyone else who has worked on this project has managed to do so with the help of the plate images previously posted. I think you can do the same.

If you have questions that are not being answered by the posted images I would suggest that you either call or email your instructor and get some clarification. You paid good money for the course so make sure you get what you paid for... instruction, training and assistance.

Thanks!! I think did finish #1,#2,#3 section A plates and start working on the 4th plate section B but the instruction is not saying much about it may be i need a little explanation thanks .

Unfortunately I am not on my CAD computer at the moment. Doesn't plate #4 have something to do with creating two or three details?

Posted

I think it said to show the c9x20 beams connection with the girder. That the only instruction i see, ecxept changing the title.

Thanks

Yes, that is correct. Personally, I think plate #4 is a waste of time.

hello,I have a question about the roof drain and roof slopes. If I make the concrete slab 6 inches thick at the roof drain and then slope it upwards at 1/8 inch per foot toward the outside of the building, then both ends of the building are of different height..........can you help me.Thanks !
