tuudor Posted February 20, 2013 Share Posted February 20, 2013 Hi, My problem is that I need to tag various valves, pumps etc for a schedule of all machines and valves in the drawing. I am using acad mep 2012 and the drawing that I need to work with has been done with a regular autocad 2007 or 2008. MEP won't let me tag the 2D drawings of the equipment. tzframpton Posted February 22, 2013 Share Posted February 22, 2013 You will have to convert them into AEC Objects if you want to tag them with the stock AutoCAD MEP Label tools. "Tags" read the Property Set Data attached to the object. I guess technically you can use standard Blocks but even then you have work ahead of you.
